Plan a Sovereign Tower ruling day
Hear the audience before you spend resources. Note which faction, person or future option each ruling may strengthen or weaken.
Open the quest list and separate fixed deadlines from work that can wait. Reserve scarce Knight profiles for the urgent column.
Match each mission to Strength, Agility, Charisma, Magic and Wit, then read its keywords against the Knight's positive and negative traits.
Check whether armour repairs, equipment, a fast horse or another preparation would consume the buffer needed for a likely emergency.
Commit the minimum set of assignments that protects timed objectives without leaving the entire Round Table unavailable.
Read every debrief. A failure or unexpected outcome is useful only when you capture what it teaches the next timeline.
Use the three-question priority rule
Before accepting a cost, ask: does this expire, is there only one Knight who fits it, and will this leave enough Treasury or faction support for the next crisis? A yes to the first two usually outranks a small immediate reward. A no to the third is a warning to delay or choose a cheaper response.
If the day collapses
Do not immediately replay every choice. Identify the first irreversible loss: an expired quest, unavailable specialist, empty Treasury or faction crisis. Rewind only far enough to change that cause, then preserve the choices that still worked.
Sovereign Tower beginner FAQ
Should I always send my strongest Knight?
No. Send the Knight whose stats and traits fit the quest while preserving scarce specialists for timed or higher-risk work.
Should I rewind every failed quest?
No. Rewind when the failure revealed information that supports a meaningfully different assignment or decision.
What should I protect early?
Protect Knight availability, a Treasury buffer and enough faction support to absorb an unavoidable unpopular decision.
